Installation requests admin privileges - Windows 10 Fall Creators x64

Hi,

when I try to install the SEPL into the Steam folder on drive C: the MSI installer says it cannot continue without admin privileges. It also doesn't ask for them like many other setup apps do. I'm not sure what's wrong but I can't install it on C:

Right click on the installer and run in admin mode. If that option is not available, right click on the installer, properties, compatibility tab, select the box for run in admin mode. If neither of those options work for you, you could temporarily disable UAC.

Neither of the options were available but I got around it by adding the appropriate shell command entry to the registry.

Still, I wonder why this happens. It's an MSI file... shouldn't it request admin access during the installation like practically any other MSI file?
