Currently, we have a semi-automated script to reconcile the differences in names between the CNPq databse and csindexbr database. It is possible to use some heuristics to better predict the mapping and accelerate the manual task of updating the database. The ideal solution is to convince csindexbr to (1) either use the CNPq official names or (2) define a mapping; they could use ours to bootstrap.
