[BUG] Extension sometimes crashes while typing

Current Behavior

Sometimes when typing and using the emotes auto-completion feature (I think it happens sometimes when using the auto-complete (TAB) for emotes mid-sentence) the extension completely crashes and stops working so you have to refresh. I have tried to create reproduction steps but it seems random.

I have experienced this issue ever since I switched from Chrome to Firefox, which is the last 2 months.

Expected Behavior

Extension doesn't crash when typing.

Steps To Reproduce

• Use the emote-autocompletion feature
• Use the extension for some time
• Eventually the extension will crash when typing

I have FrankerFaceZ as well which could cause some conflict perhaps. I just tried switching from the user-script version to the Mozilla Firefox extension, I will update with whether it helped

It did not help, could be FFZ though. I see this error in console but I'm not sure if it's the cause:
