Port to Avalonia?

Hi,
i am new to PoE and just found Sidekick. I am playing on Linux and discovered that it's not straightforward to run (#328)

Are there any plans beyond that? I saw that there is a WPF project and that should be easily portable (hopefully) to Avalonia (https://avaloniaui.net/).
Is this something this project would need? I might be able to do that.

Edit: Although i probably won't keep it up to date with the WPF version of the project once it's working
Edit2: Oops, should have red in more detail. It is straigh forward - however, Avalonia might still be useful

Pretty sure Avalonia doesn't have a working webview for Linux, which is basically the only thing that Sidekick needs to run.
I had Photino.Blazor on my sights for a while, but I don't have much time to implement it.

@domialex Do you know whether the BlazorWebView is required to host/run blazor within the WPF application? I got CEF (via CEFGlue) running and everything is ported, except the BlazorWebView. However, i don't really know about this specific setup.

@erythana Hard to say, I'm more active on the discord server in the dev channel, @leMicin and I could maybe look at your fork. The wpf component makes it easier to run a blazor server instance without having to handle inter-process calls.

Thanks for your work porting this. I have started to look at the fork, but not in too many details yet. I am planning on fixing high priority issues this weekend, and maybe take a deeper look at the work you've done. It looks promising!

Cool - let me know if you need any info or help with that! Here are the changes that definately miss yet from this port (previously posted in discord, you can also contact me there):

Things that don't work/differ from the WPF version as of now:
BlazorWebView not embedded:

• There is either https://github.com/JinShil/BlazorWebView (which seems to be Linux only) or maybe the approach with CefGlue like in my repo (however, that requires the blazor server to already run to navigate to the address.
• The HWND Window Handle stuff is not implemented yet. Is that to embedd other windows into the view? If so, here is a sample implementation of the Avalonia X-Platform way for that:

• Probably due to the HWND thing, the window is not embedded, resulting in a different layout:
  
  I don't really understand yet why the Views are embedded, the easier approach that came to my head would be to just use a control for that?

Edit: I commited a new version. The older commit uses CefGlue (which requires an already running Blazor Server), the new implementation uses a custom BlazorWebView (from https://github.com/JinShil/BlazorWebView), the EmbedWebView should allow to create a platform agnostic embedded browser - once everything is finished this can be properly registered within DI.
At this time, i can't get the EmbedView to Render properly though. Maybe you know more about that - appreciate any hints :)
Seems to be a bug in Avalonia on Gnome, though

Edit2: Back to a new BlazorWebView which utilizes CefGlue. However, the interprocess communication is missing and i don't want to continue with that as its quite an effort without a proper documentation for quite little reward

So there is a bug in WPF, when I hide the main Windows app bar (minimize, maximize, close), then you can't really drag the window around. We have a custom appbar in HTML for consistent styling, but it can't be dragged. With WPF, we put an invisible control on the top left part of the appbar so you can use WPF to drag the window around. It's a hack.
