The Comment Anchors extension is considered to be in maintenance mode, which means we no longer seek to implement any significant changes or improvements.
As it has been over 5 years since this project was initially created we have moved on to other projects and no longer have enough resources to dedicate to this extension. We do however intend on keeping Comment Anchors working with the latest version of VSCode, as we internally make use of it as well.
What does this mean for bug reports?
Unless a bug is seriously hindering the use of this extension, we will not have time to review issue reports consistently. If possible, I highly recommend submitting a Pull Request as it will significantly increase the chance of the problem being resolved.
Will you still accept new features?
While we as maintainers consider this project feature-complete, we are always open to introducing (preferably small) enhancements and features through means of Pull Requests. Feel free to contact us on Discord if you would like to discuss possible additions or request a review on an open Pull Request, as we will be more likely to reply.
Keeping issues organized
This repository has now been configured with issue and pull request templates in order to keep incoming tickets organized and readable. Please keep in mind if your issue does not make use of the provided templates it will be at risk of getting closed.
Last of all, I would like to take the time to thank everyone for the continued support over the years surrounding Comment Anchors! We still hope it proves beneficial to your VSCode experience ❤️
