I'm looking at packaging this excellent tool into Debian and I wonder if you have version number and/or tagged releases. It typically makes packaging much easier, otherwise we end up with ugly version numbers like 0.20231103.8ae7f18. I mean that works, but ugh. And such version numbers make it harder to keep track of security issues and so on....
Is that something you have considered? I would suggest sticking with semver otherwise you could just go with calver but I've never been quite clear what that spec actually is in the first place...

That's awesome, thanks for this message! Yes of course, I can do releases, and would be happy to do so. I am currently working on a V2 that should clean a lot of the technical debt there is in harpoon right now. Would you mind waiting for a month or so for the v2 to be ready? And I'll start using semver and tags/releases properly
