2. Attempt to craft

The recipe should require a feather at the top. Considering it depends on the c:feathers tag, my theory is that another mod must be messing with that tag leading to the recipe not working correctly and not displaying the required item. I can't reproduce this with Aether on it's own, so you'll have to narrow down what's causing this incompatibility.

Nevermind this has now been confirmed with only Aether; weirdly this issue isn't showing up in the dev environment but is showing up outside of it from downloaded versions.
