[Bug Report] Game not launching after mod install (v4.6.0 AND v4.5.3)

Describe the bug
I installed the correct depot of old among us files to match the version of the game required for the mod (2024.6.18s for v4.6.0 and 2024.3.5s for v4.5.3), replaced the game files with said downloaded files and extracted the mod files in there too. I also enabled winhttp via protontricks AND added a launch command later, because that didn't work. The problem is, that when I launch the game after installing a depot, it works and the game version is the one I want (as said earlier). When I drag the mod files into the folder and then run the game on steam, the game just does not launch. It seems to run for a few seconds, but no window is opening and then it just closes. Steam console output below.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open a steam console window (steam://nav/console)
2. Download the depot via the command download_depot 945360 945361 5073468987524498627 (look 1st screenshot)
3. Download the latest version of this mod (v4.6.0)
4. Replace files in /home/krane/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Among Us/ with the files just downloaded from the depot /home/krane/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steamapps/content/app_945360/depot_945361/
5. Test launch game to check if correct version is installed (look at 2nd screenshot below)
6. Extract the mod files into /home/krane/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Among Us/ (look at 3rd screenshot below, "_ORIGINAL_FILES" is a backup from me, ignore that)
7. Add launch option to Among Us in order to enable the winhttp.dll override: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%
8. Launch Among Us via Steam
9. See the following Error in the steam console:

Expected behavior
Among Us The Other Roles should launch.

Additional context
As already said I also tried it with v4.5.3 and among us 2024.3.5s, same result. I am beyond confused, if someone has an idea what is happening here, please elaborate. Thank you in advance :)
