It appears that to have more than a single page site you have to make a tweak to the theme.
Would love it if someone would be willing to follow the steps here to get it up and going for us.

looks like I was wrong, it already supports multiple pages

It could use some work though. The fact the whole header is the same as the homepage is probably not good.
