Lenovo Legion Go

Supported since: HandheldCompanion v. 0.19.0.2 (beta 4)

Using Handheld Companion v. 0.19.0.2 (beta 4) or newer, you have the ability to remap all the buttons of the Legion Go as well as properly configure the unit's gyroscope. The controllers' gyroscope is not yet supported as of version 0.19.0.3 (beta 5).

Basic configuration

In order to avoid conflicts between software, you will need to open the Task Scheduler, disable the LSDaemon and reboot your device. Please note that every time you open LegionSpace, this daemon will be both started automatically as well as re-enabled in the Task Scheduler so don't forget to disable it again and then reboot or kill the running LSDaemon:

LED control and ambilight

Starting from v. 0.19.0.3 (beta 5) you can now control the LEDs on the device.

You can turn the LEDs on or off as well as change the brightness. Handheld Companion allows you to use 2 presets for the colors: Solid and Ambilight

The Solid option allows you to set a fixed color for both controllers and have that all the time.

The Ambilight option extracts the color information from the left and right edges of the device's screen and respectively uses that color for the LED illumination.

⚠️ In order for Handheld Companion to be able to control the LEDs of the device, you will need to open LegionSpace once and change the LED settings to the following (Remember that you need to disable the LSDaemon task again as well as kill the process that the LegionSpace will start or simply reboot):

legionspace_settings

Then click on profile and select the following settings:
