Breaking this out as a separate issue from #2

My preference is to have an expiration with a default period, related to the job assignment of the person. Each entry can be classified as "Undegrad student", "PhD student", "Postdoc", "Scientist", "Staff", "Faculty" and so on. An Undergrad can be given a default of 2 year membership, grad students 4 years, and so on. Faculty/Staff can be 5 years.
