I thought maybe for active users (e.g. who have opened the popup say 100 times) we could show dismissible notifications inside the popup asking to help translate and for donations. With buttons like "maybe later" and "never show this again".

The Signal Android app does this, for example. Need to recall other good examples of such practice.
