X-Plane 11 reads Windows shortcuts (.lnk files) in the Custom Scenery folder just fine, and loads the targeted libraries or sceneries. Why is it that WED does not do so, but instead requires at least symbolic links to Custom Scenery external folders ?

If possible, please implement this functionality.
