Matterbridge fails to connect

I tried bridging a channel via Matterbridge, but the connection fails with a disconnect: error: EOF

Any idea what might be the cause of this?

To which instance of the IrcBridge are you trying to connect to ? Do you have access to the logs of the instance, do you know which version is used ? If not, I would suggest running a local instance of the bridge for debugging purpose and checking the logs when trying to connect to this local instance using the Matterbridge.

Are you able to connect to this instance using a normal IRC client and the login/password used for the Matterbridge ?
