Test conditions:

Firmware: OpenWrt 23.05.4 running on GL.iNet GL-MT6000 router
Crusader Server: 0.1 pre-built for aarch64 running on router
Crusader Client GUI client: 0.1 running on macOS 12.7.5 Macbook
Crusader was installed by downloading the pre-built aarch64...musl...Linux binary

Ethernet

2.4 GHz Wi-Fi - 3 feet (1m) from router

5 GHz Wi-FI - 3 feet (1m) from router

2.4 GHz Wi-Fi - 25 feet (8m) from router

5 GHz Wi-Fi - 25 feet (8m) from router

the gl.inet version is clearly bloated given the slope of the curve. I wonder how much worse it would get if it ran for more than 6 seconds?

The bandwidth achieved in openwrt iat 5ghz s only half that of the gl version - is it in he80 mode?
I wish there was a smoothed average or a total bytes transferred output from crusader. Wifi is too jittery in the first place.

thx for running the 25 foot tests. Lot of struggling there sometimes!

Uh oh... There's a typo - I think you mean that the 2.4GHz results DON'T look good

@dtaht Hmmm... I put my MT6000 into production this weekend. That means that it's harder to repro the original tests. (They were: 1. ethernet; 2. Sitting in my chair in the living room with the MT6000 on the table next to me (1m away); 3. Sitting in the other room, about 8m away.)

In the next few days I could:

Using Crusader Client 0.3 on my Macbook Pro and
Using Crusader Server 0.3 on a Raspberry Pi 4 on Ethernet connected to the MT6000
Re-run the tests with 23.05.5 on Ethernet, Wifi 2.4GHz, Wifi 5GHz from my chair to the production router (5m away)
Install the custom build firmware, and re-run these tests

Is this what you had in mind?

PS Where's a link to the custom build firmware? I don't build firmware, and it's useful to keep a copy of the image for repeatability

I am located in Singapore so latency to US is high (due to sheer distance). But the throughput is not bad.

Using wireless connection now.

Maybe there is some types of throttling.

Wired test results are actually slower (2.5G Ethernet adapter, my Fibre internet is 5Gbps).
