muon decay and flight time: new measurement does not start with new plot #46

In the muon decay tab one selects 'check for decayed muons' and selects the channels. the only way to start a new decay (flight time) measurement is to restart muonic.
If one unclicks 'check for decayed muons' one can even select other channels which end up in the same histogram. This is different to the rates measurements.

It is nice to have the histogram displayed after the measurement stopped to be able to fit a curve but I think that it should start a new measurement when activating the check box.

Actually this is a feature^^. As the mudecay measurement takes so long, it was ment to "last forever".
If the request is implemented, than there should be at least a checkbox á la: "Do you really want to restart?" At least that is how I think about it.. comments?

I thought, that it might be a feature :) You are right, in some cases it's good to have more data in the plot. I think it would be good to add a checkbox for restarting or not. I was confused when I tested different configurations.

Can we have a status update on this, should it be implemented as Achim suggests?
