- Multimedia: Image, Audio, Video, Watermarking, Fingerprinting
- Web: Searching, Crawling, Page Rank, SEO, Spam
- Recommender Systems: Collaborative, Content-Based, Hybrid
- Cross Language: Query Translation, Document Translation, Corpus & Knowledge based techniques
