Array bounds error on nc-dns-updater

Hello,
I am attempting to run nc-dns-updater on Mac OS 10.12.6 (Sierra) and it crashes when I attempt to enter host details. It logs the following information:

I see that you have confirmed compatibility up to Yosemite so I am wondering if Sierra might be the problem. Unfortunately, I cannot revert to Yosemite.
