Virtual keyboard not using sentence case (Android)

Most of my apps automatically start with the virtual keyboard using capital for the first word of a sentence and after a . However akari is always lower case. Using Samsung phone but with Google keyboard.

There's probably some setting when the input field opens how the virtual keyboard should behave.

Let me know if that makes sense
