[Bug]: Couldn't be able to start a DM chat from zero on chrome in Android and Mac devices

Description

I tried to start a conversation from zero on chrome on Android and also on my macbook, but I can be able to reuse an already created chat as workaround

Steps to Reproduce

1. I click on the mail icon

2. I select one of my mutuals to start a chat

3. I couldn't be able to start the chat

Expected Behavior

I start a chat from zero with one of my mutuals
