Ubuntu 24.04 and Galaxy s23 ultra - can't click connect in the host app

I have installed the deb version (tried with the flatpak as well).

I have connected the device via USB (tried with and without USB debbuging turned on).

This is what I get:

The "Connect" button is greyed out for some reason.

if you follow the instructions you see you need to enter the screen resolution first. I fell into the same until reading the instructions again. Then it allows to press connect.
