Game release
Standalone/Other
Additional information
Hi there,
S8P is a games for windows live (gfwl) title, however, the game made use of Gamespy Sake for storing player stats and unlocks for its online backend, titled Prejudice Online. At present, I'm using Xlivelessness version 1.5.0.1 (gfwl emulator) to launch the game and play it. While the emu is still in development it works well enough to play the game offline and via dedicated servers (one can host dedi's too) through XLLN.
I've tried replacing all gamespy entries with openspy, however, openspy doesn't appear to support Gamespy Sake emulation 100%. Not sure if you could try and implement the required Gamespy Sake server functions in a dll for the game?
As for storing stats, I've tried creating my own MySQL database based upon what I can derive from the game's ini files. Stats don't write to the db, but I believe its due to the fact that the GS Sake server entries can't be reached via Openspy to write the necessary data.
I'm really keen to restore the game's online backend features regarding the stats and unlocks, so I'll really appreciate any help / assistance with this game.
Thanks in advance,
SC
