Which version should be right for me to download? #1713

Unfortunately, that isn't enough info for us to give you a definite answer. A 64-bit CPU in a Dell laptop running Windows 11, that could very easily be either x86 (Intel/AMD) or ARM. Can you be more specific? EDIT: Try going to Settings -> System -> About. What type of processor does it say under Device Specifications? |
Easy, download both. |
usually there's a sticker on the device saying what brand CPU is in it. If it says Intel or AMD then you want the AMD64 build (this is the same thing as x64). If it says Snapdragon then you want the ARM64 build. |
You would have to go out of your way to select a Windows based system with an ARM processor in it. I'm assuming you have the usual Intel or AMD processor. Which would mean you want the AMD64 download. This is 3 months old, and I assume you have figured out the correct build to install. Is it OK to close this issue? If there is no response in a week or so, it will be closed. Thank you. |
