When calling transformer.transform in local mode it appears that input_filter and output_filter are ignored. Is this expected behavior? Also, should I be logging these issues in another project or is it ok to raise them here? Thank you.

Those issues are related to SageMaker Python SDK.
You can open an issue in SageMaker Python SDK GitHub repo, and to expedite it, you can write me a private mail stating what is the company you work for, so I can introduce you to the Machine Learning Specialist working with you.
