attiny85 fuse settings.txt

Assuming ArduinoIDE is installed, the following command will set the fuse bits correctly for TinyMIDI2CV, while using an Arudino Uno as an ISP programmer for the ATTiny85:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\tools\avr/bin/avrdude" -C "C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\tools\avr/etc/avrdude.conf" -v -p attiny85 -c stk500v1 -P COM4 -b 19200 -e -U lfuse:w:0xe1:m -U hfuse:w:0xdd:m -U efuse:w:0xfe:m

You may need to change the COM port number to match your device. The correct number may be found in the Windows Device Manager, or in the Tools > Port menu in ArduinoIDE. 


If using VSCode & PlatformIO, make sure your programmer is configured correctly in platformio.ini and add the following lines:

; ATTiny85 16Mhz
board_fuses.lfuse = 0xE1
board_fuses.hfuse = 0xDD
board_fuses.efuse = 0xFE


Then in the menu bar up top, click: 
	Terminal > Run Task

and run the task: 
	PlatformIO: Set Fuses
