i'm at a complete loss to satisfy bitsandbytes. it seems to want my global system's cuda driver, but it's 12.6 and kohya is probably using 11.8 but that is just a guess. so i don't know how my giving bitsandbytes my system's cuda drivers are going to get kohya to work properly.
i trained a lora yesterday, so i know my system works, but something snapped and for some unknown reason bitsandbytes keeps throwing errors. i think it may even have something to do with any changes in the LORA settings that can cause bitsandbytes to throw irrelevant sounding errors. i have every cuda library location set in bashrc in LD_LIBRARY_PATH and that's not good enough for bitsandbytes now though.
now bitsandbytes can't even find its own libcuspARSE, and it sounds like a joke but it's really true. how can that even happen under a fresh install of kohya? and it's totally nuts that bitsandbytes wants my brand new latest updated cuda driver to use with old torch stuff that almost certainly wants an older cuda driver.
any ideas how to get this to work on linux by the way? i had it working but only by accident. freshly installing over and over again and getting exit status 1 over and over with ridiculous goofy bitsandbytes messages like "use command python -m bitsandbytes" and then the output of that program actually says "use command python -m bitsandbytes" . it's just nuts.
