Likely the best way to accomplish that would be for Immich to WRITE the tags it produces into standard EXIF or XMP metadata so it lives with the pictures. This would avoid PiGallery2 having to maintain some type of interface to Immich and make Immich's metadata portable to many other apps. Immich recently added the ability to READ this metadata, and now appears to be working on writing it back to the images. Follow the below discussion. Once this is implemented, Immich detected faces should automatically show up in PiGallery2 once the files are re-scanned. |

As titled, any idea or tutorial how to export face recognition data from Immich (running on docker) to pigallery2 (also on docker)? In Immich I have over 3000 faces and I have no idea how to get it working or import to pigallery2. Thanks!
