How does the tool work?

See Manual for a short text or watch one of the videos that are listed there.

Do I really need to set all the multipliers from the unofficial server I play on? I just want to have a list of my dinos.

If you really only want a list of your dinos, better use a spreadsheet. If you want to use this tool properly, you must enter all the stat-multipliers correctly, which usually is easy if the server-admin gives them out. By using the tool you get recommendations on which creatures you should breed for the best results, can see the pedigrees and have a nice, colored, sortable and sharable list of all your creatures.

How can I share the list with my tribe-members and edit simultaneosly?

Save the library-file in a folder which is shared with your tribe-members via a sharing-service. All users have to check "Autosave" and "Autoload" in the settings and that's it. After an edit the file is synchronized between all users and the autoload makes sure it's displayed with the new info.

Why does the tool extract a too low level of the melee-damage?

Probably it's not wrong. Most other stat-tester are only made for wild creatures. Melee damage does get a bonus after taming which causes stat-tester which are only made for wild creatures to display too high numbers.

Can I use this tool when I have mods that alter the stat-values?

Yes, if you have the specific values the mod uses you can create a json-file and load it with File - Load additional Values... To see how to create such a file, see Mod Values. For the Classical-Flyers-Mod there's already a file you can download for using.

Are there useful Mods I can use with this tool?

If you are playing on an unofficial server that allows mods, you can try the Super Spyglass Mod that lets you see all the levels of a creature ingame.
