No Show Fee

My company is evaluating Cal.com. Our bookings are free, but we charge a no-show fee. Therefore, we want to use a payment processor (Stripe or any other would do it for us) to capture the customer's credit card information only. And, if they don't show up, we can apply a penalty fee later on -which we can do directly on the payment's processor backend.
We have a team of developers working with us.
Is this possible to be done? Could we modify the existing Strip App to suit these needs?

if you self-host, you can change any line of code, yes. The Stripe app is part of the platform plan: https://cal.com/platform and requires an enterprise license which starts at $99/month

Peer, thank you so much for your quick reply.

There are elements of Cal.com that are very appealing to us (integration with Google, Zoom, and Hubspot and its ability to do round robin bookings).

The one missing piece is that instead of charging a fee during the booking process, we need to do a SetupIntent so that we can apply a no-show fee when someone doesn't attend a meeting. Our developers are familiar with Stripe, and could tackle this challenge.

It is very encouraging to hear from you that we can modify the Stripe app. this would save us valuable time. I am not fully familiar with all the aspects of Cal.com... but I wonder, do we have to publish this app on your store to use it on our site? Or can we use it as a private app?

We don't mind sharing it with the rest of Cal's community, but we need to find a solution to this issue as quickly as possible, and I imagine the approval process for our modified app would take some time. Hence the idea of start using it as a private app on our site firstly.
