there seem to be quite some interesting read-made metrics in catapult that would be potentially relevant to LTTng system trace analysis, such as:

  • cpuProcessMetric
  • limitedCpuTimeMetric
  • newCpuTimeMetric
  • memoryMetric

how can one leverage these? could the input data format be documented that is required to get these metrics show something sensible?
