I wonder what would happen if you went forward to 999,999 km, drove it a few miles to get it to go over to 000,003, then used DDT4All to go forward to the number you actually want? I'm not suggesting you do it - I know literally nothing. |

Hello, so i have a renault megane 3 from 2011. right now the car has on the cluster 230.000 km and the same on abs, but in reality it has 289.655 km on ECU. So the thing is that the LED for the rev indicator stopped working so i was thinking that maybe i can fix it, but when taking appart the cluster i damaged the flex cable that is connecting the main screen that shows the speed and there is no way i can repair it. So i bought a used cluster. Now here is the problem, i configured the new cluster with the old one's settings, but this cluster has 341.000 km and i would like to make it to show the real mileage from ecu. The problem is that ddt4all can only change mileage up. I tried to change it on the broken cluster from 230.000 to 285.000 and it worked, but it doesn't let me change down.
Now if there would be a way to sync this cluster's mileage with the one from ECU that would be great. I just want the real mileage. I hate those people who rollback the mileage on purpose when selling cars.
I saw that renolink software can do it, but it only works with obdlink sx adapter, but even if i get one the software would be a pain to get.
I have an bluetooth vlinker mc+ adapter that i used for this and another vgate icar pro 2 wifi that for some reason is not working with my phone only with the laptop.
Any help will be appreciate it.
