Can't play local files on iOS

Hi, when I try to play a locally stored file on iOS, the player isn't able to start (see the attachment). The same problem happens if I download a podcast episode. Yet it works fine if an episode is streamed.
I tried to turn off all other plugins and css snippets, but the problem remains.
