{{title}} does not work in setting "Note creation file path" when special characters are in the title

Having the same issue, even though the documentation indicates that {{title}} used in the file path section should automatically remove all special characters:

I'm bumping this topic - my situation looks very similar. According to the documentation, special characters in the podcast title should be automatically removed - but they aren't. As a result, whenever an episode title contains, for example, a question mark, the "create note" function only generates a message saying "Failed to create note: ..."
