I am trying to create a sublist in the Capture Format but there is no way for me to insert a tab character. Just pressing changes focus to other UI elements and \t is not recognized.
Or, am I missing a way to capture a list and a sublist?
My. use case is this: I like to journal with the main list item being the date and a short title with what I'm referencing and then in a sublist is where I write most of my thoughts. I have a Capture setup to ask for two items: the title and the entry. I'm not able to setup the entry as a sublist of the title.
Describe the solution you'd like
Ideally I think using \t to insert a like using \n to insert a newline.

I second this, it's an issue I've been facing every day using this plugin. I'm using the "Multi-line Input Prompt" option turned on, and can't make indents like I usually do with Tab, because instead of its usual behavior in text editors, it unfocuses the text input field and instead onto the buttons in the popup.
This issue makes multi-line input prompt setting completely useless for 80% of my use cases
