There are differences between Saxon 9.8 and Saxon 9.9 on XdmDestination. RawDestination has been introduced because Xdmdestination has now sequence normalization.

It'll maybe useful to introduce a Tee to have result and to be able to check if there were no output, instead of empty-sequence output.
