Abstract

This blog post aims to emphasize the role of communities such as the TAG Environmental Sustainability in introducing, spread awareness and bring like-minded people together. Sustainability is about metrics, calculations and so on but one of the things that makes this topic different is how passionate people are and this actually becomes one of the things that drives the change.

Scope

Focus on how building a community with passionate people can guide change and awareness on a topic like environmental sustainability.

Goals and Non Goals

Goals:

• Highlight the power of community in general and specifically for sustainability topic
• Enhance the importance of advocacy activities

Non goals:

• We won't provide "guidelines" on how to develop a community
