Hi, I cannot see where I can edit the entry. I have enabled edit entry and edit entry date as well. Still cannot find any button or way to edit the entry. Please help.

Hi,
lets see if we can sort this out together.
You say you have enabled the edit entry options in the margic settings. Have you set the open and / or close time as well (as shown in the image?

If you have set open and close time the entries can only be edited between this times, otherwise they should always be editable.

An entry can only be edited by its creator (so a teacher cant edit any entry from another user).
If the conditions are met the creator of an entry can edit it by clicking on the button seen in the screenshot.

Do you see the button?

Hi,

if you have the "Edit own entries" option enabled and the "Open time" and "Close time" options disabled you should normaly see the edit pencil icon. This seems like a strange issue, so we have to dive a little deeper to resolve it.

First I need more information to be able to reproduce and track down the problem.
Can you please tell me the version of your moodle and of the margic plugin? What database does your moodle uses? Do you have database access? Then it would be very helpfull if you could attach a screenshot of the record of the affected margic from the table "margic"

Have you tested it with other Margics and maybe with other users too? If not, can you please do so and tell me if the problem occurs there too?
