Pipeline 2 v1.15.0 (App version 1.7.0) released

Version 1.15.0 of DAISY Pipeline 2 (App version 1.7.0) is now available for download! The following alternative packages are proposed:

• for Windows users: the desktop app installer (exe file, 187 MB)
• for Mac OS X users: the desktop app installer (pkg file, 233 MB)
• for Debian/Ubuntu users: the Debian package (124 MB)
• for other Linux users: the zip package (132 MB)
• there is also the Docker image

This release features an experimental Pipeline 1 backend, with selected Pipeline 1 scripts. More scripts will become available in upcoming releases. Furthermore, the DAISY 2.02 validator script now supports master SMIL files, a fix was done for timeout errors in speech synthesis, there has been a major refactoring in the braille production code, and various other improvements and bug fixes were made.
