A suggestion is to adjust the 'Internal file structure' view for MF4 files using 4.20 to be more similar to what is displayed for 4.11.
Specifically, 4.11 shows a single channel group per CAN message, making it easy to expand that group to show the related messages:
In contrast, 4.20 shows a channel group per signal. There is an indentation of the related signals under the top channel group, but each has to be expanded individually, making the overview very cluttered and non-intuitive. I realize this probably reflects the actual structure, but maybe there is a way to display it more like 4.11. As a simple implication, since an average CAN message has probably 7 underlying signals, a log file with 100 messages goes from ~100 channel groups to ~700 channel groups (even though everything is collapsed). In other words, it makes the internal file structure view more-or-less the same as the 'natural sort view', just displayed in a somewhat less clear manner. Below is an example of how a single 4.20 CAN message looks:
