External Follow-ups

These are issues for Azle/Kybra that we do not have direct control over. We should prioritize these when discussing with DFINITY, Boa, the community, and other projects:

Blocking

• cycle costs too high (Boa)
• Wasm binary limit too small

Non-Blocking

• DFINITY security review
• DFX extensions
  • Auto-generate typescript/python types from a candid file. See As a developer, I want to generate Azle TypeScript types from Candid files so that I don't have to implement them manually dfinity/candid#373
• Stable data structures
• Stable storage scheduled increases
• replace ic-cdk-optimizer with ic-wasm
• Improve automatic generation of Candid or just get rid of the need for a Candid file in Rust/Custom
• Protocol-level cycle sharing
• Performance counter needs to be improved, very hard to work with
• The URLs ouput by dfx don't use subdomains, which can cause problems. They said they might provide a setting for this.
