It doesn't make sense to include "Till I make thine enemies thy footstool" in Luke 20:43, but exclude it from Matthew 22:44 and Mark 12:36. I assume cutting off the red text after "The LORD" is a mistake in these 3 verses. The words in [brackets] are NOT red text in KJPBS:

Matthew 22:44
The LORD [said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?]

Mark 12:36
For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD [said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.]

Luke 20:42-43
42 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD [said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,]
43 Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

The text after "O ye of little faith?" in Matthew 8:26 shouldn't be red, but it's red to the end of the verse.

Matthew 8:26
Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

KJPBS actually isn't the source of any of the Bible database text and markup. It's all from an upstream database source. I believe all of these have been resolved already, as per this KJPBS discussion:
https://sourceforge.net/p/purebiblesearch/tickets/27/

However, the newer Bible database hasn't been released with KJPBS yet, as the current production release of KJPBS is from 2013. Many new program enhancements, and fixes like this, are coming in a future KJPBS release. Whenever that happens, the database will be updated to the 2021-04-04 v2.10.2 version, which should have this fixed.

Thanks for the report. I will leave this ticket open so others can reference it and close it after the next KJPBS release. I don't have a specific time-frame on the next release yet, as a full formal release is a very time consuming and difficult process that involves building and testing on all computer targets, plus involves people to help with language translations, etc. There are plans, however, for some early alpha/beta snapshots to get posted here to the Releases section, primarily for people to do some testing with new features like ELS Search. So, keep an eye out for it in the upcoming months, as it should have the newer database with it.

And actually, if you are a bit ambitious and want a jump start on that database, you could simply download it from this KJPBS repo and manually copy it into your local KJPBS installation. The database file is located at https://github.com/dewhisna/KingJamesPureBibleSearch/raw/refs/heads/master/programs/KJVCanOpener/db/bbl-kjv1769.ccdb. Download that file and locate the KJVCanOpener/db folder on your KJPBS installation (the exact location on your computer will vary depending on what OS you are using and what folder you elected to install things to) and swap out the bbl-kjv1769.ccdb file with this newer one.
