I think that the most flexible way to store information about load balancing method and performance monitoring is the following:
Appliance Type stores information if service can be monitored for performance and if it can be load balanced and what is the default LB method (ip hash or round robin)
If AT can be monitored and/or load-balanced user can define those on appliance level (defaults should be to monitor performance and use round robin).
