Theme Maintenance Question

@digitalcraftsman I am very fond of this theme and am using the version from @luca-ing for blogging. I recently upgraded the theme to Font Awesome 5.3.1 and fixed some issues with the blog feature on the @luca-ing version.

What I am wondering is, beyond managing my own version, what should I do with the updates?
Do you want to update your version to include blogging?
Should I just maintain the whole thing in my own repo?

It seems that the project is getting a bit fragmented.

Not being critical, just want to find a way to give back.
Anyway, thanks for an awesome starting point.
