Rotating device while Loading / Refreshing causes it to hang / crash

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start MyEpisodes Manager fresh
2. While "Loading..." rotate device
3. "Loading..." with disappear but will finish the query
4. Rotating the device a couple times will crash the application (See it mostly 
when placing the device down and the screen flips so you pick it back up to 
flip the orientation again)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
"Loading..." should be displayed after rotating and Application not to crash 
from rotating the device.

What version of the application are you using?
1.8.2-2

What version of Android are you using?
2.3.4

What device/smartphone are you using?
Sony Ericsson Arc
