In google calendar, options to change view to month/day/view and other settings will be hidden when the site isn't whitelisted

I'm experiencing a similar issue. The Google Calendar page loads but no calendar appointment are displayed.

Similar problem here: it's impossible to create new appointments and the Calendar page is poorly loaded (square chars instead the chevrons)

I was having issues getting the calendar to do anything other than display. My clicks seemed to not be registering.

To get it working again I had to unblock apis.google.com.

@Sarmacid how did you unblock that domain name? I only see whitelist site as an option.
