I stumbled on a thread in Discord that says that you must not login into the official Hue app with your cloud credentials. By doing so it will prevent pairing. I could not find any information about this in the documentation. I fear many people, including myself have stumbled on this. I've included a few pics that could be used in the updated documentation. Btw, note the message on the last picture that says that Hue will eventually force a cloud login, what are the implications of that...

Hi, we will make this in the docs.

Running into this cloud account issue which is preventing me from adding my diyhue hub in the official iOS app (5.32.1). I don't have a "skip" button in my hue app to bypass and proceed without an account login. Is there any workaround for this?

You can try to do it without Internet access. Otherwise you need to sideload the app on ios but then you need to have te previous version of the app.

I had the same issue on android 5.32.0 : clean all cache and data and the skip button was there !

@seandotgee maybe you can also try to do what @TheLazyGeekGuy did

@TheLazyGeekGuy @hendriksen-mark Thank you both! While there is no way to directly clean app data/cache in iOS....uninstalling the Hue app and rebooting the device, then reinstalling the hue app did the trick, the skip button appeared after that.
