Hi,

I have an issue with doctrine ORM and Symfony. This error appears :
The attribute metadata driver cannot be enabled on PHP 7. Please upgrade to PHP 8 or choose a different metadata driver.

I use PHP 7.4.

because you are trying to use driver for php8 attributes, i suspect that your doctrine.orm.mappings.App.type is attribute or is missing? it should be annotation

Yes if you sync flex recipes, or newly installed orm, then by default the type is not configured (it defaults to attribute), so you should set it explicitly.

It's been a while now I think. After PHP8 release with attributes, doctrine/annotations became obsolete
