Shape a .shp file

Hi,
what is the best way to form an imported mesh (.shp).
I want to mix the shape file with a height TIFF.

For example.
This is a plane imported shape.

and this a DTM TIFF imported as DEM Raw

When I imported the tiff as displacement is this the result:

When I imported the tiff as Basement on mesh i get a white material
