Is it possible to install this alongside an existing Wireguard setup?

I've got Wireguard running on a VM on Proxmox, but I want to add a dashboard to manage clients, without having to redo any setup.

Same problem here running Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) x86_64 LXC in Proxmox.
Updated to python 3.10 and still get the same error as OP.

sudo ./wgd.sh start
trap: usage: trap [-lp] [[arg] signal_spec ...]
------------------------------------------------------------
[WGDashboard] Starting WGDashboard with Gunicorn in the background.
./wgd.sh: line 59: ./venv/bin/activate: No such file or directory
sudo: ./venv/bin/gunicorn: command not found

Any ideas?

Yeah, I gave up until I get some guidance on what to try from the maintainer.

I googled the error and tried some suggestions but none worked for me

Same ran around in circles from updateing python and trying everything on instal page for Debian 11 and the manual install, still same result, Quite frustrating. Guess im leaving it for a while until its figured out what i did wrong.

I think i may have figured it out. It seems (in my case ) the default install is under the
/root/WGDashboard
directory not
/etc/wgdashboard

I changed the directory did ( as per the manual install instructed )

` cd ./WGDashboard/src

chmod +x ./wgd.sh

./wgd.sh install

sudo echo "net.ipv4.ip_forward=1" >> /etc/sysctl.conf

sudo sysctl -p /etc/sysctl.conf `

./wgd.sh start

All went well, it started i could login and see the UI....

Success!!!

I have other problems though, maybe its a permission thing but the peers section isnt reporting the configs under wireguard default connection wg0 or the peers config files.

When i try to change the peer to the settings in the UI under /etc/wireguard/configs it wont accept my DDNS name.

No matter though , I just cant change the peer info on the dashboard, The names come up as "Untitled", not a game breaker as wireguard access all still works fine.

I will carry on manually using the CLI to add peers under pivpn -a rather than the UI

Hello. Will refreshing the user work? In version 4. when connecting to the server the green light comes on and everything is ok but when I turn off the client it still shows that it is connected?

see user test1_wg1 is disabled and on the server it shows that he is active and this does not change

I have one more question about the wg0.conf autostart. During the server restart it does not start automatically. I have to start it manually. If I restart it with the command ./wgd.sh restart in the terminal, everything works properly, wg0.conf is started. A full server restart does not start wg0.conf. Please understand and thank you

Sorry but now I read that this function is in the backlog to do. It remains to wait for the update and implementation of this function.

As far as I know.. is hard to limit a specific peer, but you can limit the whole WG configuration with linux tc commands.

No, thanks. THere is no a good idea to limit the bandwidth for all clients... Only for some of them.
