Switching from WG-Easy to WGDashboard

As someone switching from something overly simplified to this dashboard, I face many troubles. I can get this to work, but I can only access local IPs for some reason, and it doesn't show any traffic on the dashboard when the connection is alive. My settings are all default except that I'm on a lower port of 1000 as people say u want to be below 1024. Help would be nice

When you were using wg-easy, did you used any PostUp or PreUp commands to setup iptables?

Here's an example of my wg0.conf (server-side)

at some point I got one config to work which was like

[Interface]

Address = 10.8.0.1/32
MTU = 1420
DNS = 1.1.1.1

Endpoint = [Redacted]:1000

but that would only work for local ips on the network. now if I even try that config again it refuses to work. I have everything port forwarded, but now im just genuinely confused.

Does your WireGuard say connected and receive and send bytes? Like this:

I encountered the same problem, only it doesn’t allow me to access the Internet locally.
